Child safety standards

Hasty is for adults only, and we have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) of any kind.

Our standards

Hasty is for people aged 18 and over. Accounts that appear to belong to anyone younger are closed.

Any content or behaviour that sexualises, grooms, exploits or endangers a child is forbidden, including child sexual abuse material (CSAM). We remove it, permanently close the accounts involved and report it to the relevant authorities, such as the Romanian Police, the INHOPE network of hotlines and, where appropriate, NCMEC. Photos from reported letters are kept out of reach for a year for the investigation, never shown to anyone.

How we prevent it

Every letter is checked automatically before delivery; letters that mention being under 18 or ask for sexual content are held for review.

Anyone can flag a letter (⋯ → Report letter) or block a person, and anyone can write to us. Flags are reviewed by our team, and flagged writers are stopped from sending while we look.

Reporting

To report a concern about child safety, flag the letter in the app (⋯ → Report letter) or email hello@heyhasty.com. We respond to child-safety reports as a priority.
